GWM UK launches £2,000 test drive incentive

GWM UK is looking to increase the number of customers experiencing its vehicles with before the end of June with a £2,000 test drive incentive.

GWM UK revised its Ora range at the start of this year with pricing from £24,995 for the Pure variant, while the Ora 03 Pro is priced from £28,995 and benefits from a larger 63 kWh battery and an increased driving range of 261 miles.

A new GT trim tops the range at £32,995 and is finished with exterior and interior GT styling elements, electric sunroof and launch control.

The GWM mid-sized Haval Jolion Pro Hybrid went on sale in March 2025, priced from £23,995 on-the-road.

Toby Marshall, managing director at GWM UK, said, “As a new brand in the UK, not a lot of people will have experienced our product before.

“Those that have are always impressed with the quality – therefore this offer makes complete sense to us.

The £2,000 voucher can be used on any new car transaction, following a test drive experience with one of our dedicated GWM UK retailers.

“As we go through a period of transition, introducing new brands to the GWM group, new vehicles and new dealers to our growing GWM UK network, this incentive is a great way to introduce people to the new brands and get them into the driving seat to experience he latest products.”

All UK GWM Ora dealerhips started to rebrand as simply GWM at the start of this year.

Globally, GWM has five model lines – Ora, Haval, Wey, Tank and Poer.

Up until now Ora was the only line planned for sale in the UK, which is why dealerships were known under the GWM Ora name.

The decision has now been made to bring across more models to the UK, so the brand explained that it made sense to unify them under one GWM name.
